Our fleet of catamarans and crew run multiple trips a day to offer Sunset, Snorkel, Power Adventures, Parasailing and Island Explorations.

Additionally, we run marine and guest service operations at an island oasis where guest come for downtime and disconnecting. The Bungalows Key Largo (IG @bungalowskeylargo) is an intimate, adults-only resort, which sits within a botanical garden edged by 1000 feet of ocean shoreline, just a few miles from the warm waters of the Gulf Stream. We offer Sunset, Snorkel, Eco-Tours, Island Exploring, Swimming and Happy Hour trips daily on our state of the art, beautiful new Duffy, Worldcat, Axopar, Gemini and Tiki Boats.

In the USVI, Cruz Bay Watersports (IG @cruzbaywatersports) is celebrating over 30 years in business as the oldest and most well respected watersports company in the Virgin Islands. We offer the largest variety of activities and excursions available on St. John and St. Thomas, including daily excursions to the British Virgin Islands, 5-star PADI diving, snorkel sails, sunset sails, boat rentals, and much more.

Supervisor: Marine Operations Manager

Starting Pay: $150 - 225/day plus gratuities

General Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated and team-oriented crew members and captains. Our 65’ sailing catamaran (Lady Grace) will provide trips in and around the Ritz-Carlton Grace Bay. We are seeking team members who excel at customer service, enjoy communicating with guests aboard the vessel and have a passion for boating in the islands. RED offers opportunities for the right individuals to grow in a variety of different positions.

Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Safe operation of a USCG Inspected Vessel – Powerboats and Sailboats
  • Responsible for all crew and passengers’ safety while under way and on the dock
  • Delegate and account for all pre-trip provisioning, preparation, and vessel inspection, post-trip cleaning and resupply
  • Ensure crew delivers an enjoyable, guest-centric and luxury experience throughout the excursion (includes serving food and beverage)
  • Account for and report routine maintenance and critical maintenance needs
  • Manage assigned crew member(s)
  • Other tasks as requested by Management

Job Requirements

  • Minimum USCG Master License 100 ton or more with sailing endorsement or Royal Yachtmaster (UK) equivalent, STCW95 Certified, minimum 5 years experience operating a luxury passenger catamaran in excess of 55 feet and a passenger capacity greater than 60 (Senior Captain)
  • Current USCG credentials for TCI destinations
    • Current First Aid/CPR, TWIC Card
  • Working eight hours outside in the water and/or under the sun
  • Previous day-charter and leadership experience a plus
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance of vessels a plus
  • Flexibility in scheduling
  • Team player, positive and enthusiastic attitude

Supervisor: Captain/Operations Manager

Starting Pay: $20 – $120/trip + tips (trip pay increases with each additional boat you are certified on)

Crew Job Responsibilities include:

  • Safe operation of a USCG Inspected Vessels – Powerboats and Sailboats
  • Pre-trip provisioning, preparation, and vessel inspection
  • Provide an enjoyable, information and elevated guest experience throughout the excursion (includes serving food and beverage)
  • Post-trip cleaning and resupply
  • Assist Captain of vessel with lines, raising sails, mooring and all other aspects of daily operation of the vessel.
  • Issue snorkel gear in a professional clean and hospitable manner
  • Conduct Snorkel Briefing on the way to the reef
  • Assist guests with getting into the water
  • Lifeguard, monitor and provide rescue to snorkelers when necessary
  • Assist guest when they exit the water, ensuring a safe exit
  • In-water and topside snorkel instruction and supervision
  • Other tasks as requested by Captain and management

Job Requirements

  • Punctuality, integrity and reliability is a must
  • Working outside in the water and under the sun, previous day charter experience a plus
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance of vessels a plus

Supervisor: Captain/Operations Manager

Starting Pay: $13 - $17/hour

Ferry Crew Positions (USVI only) Responsibilities include:

  • Safe Operation of a USCG Inspected Vessel
  • Pre-trip and post-trip vessel inspection
  • Guest interaction throughout the ferry transfer
  • Post-trip cleaning and preparation
  • Routine maintenance and reporting of maintenance needs
  • Moving luggage on and off the vessel for ground transfers
  • Ability to workday or night shifts
  • Coordination of guest movement with VIPA Security and Westin Security

Job Requirements

  • Safe Operation of a USCG Inspected Vessel
  • Current USCG credentials/First Aid/CPR/TWIC Card
  • STCW is a plus
  • Crowd Management is a plus

Supervisor: Vice President of Operations

Starting Pay: $60,000 - 75,000/year

experiences, including watersports, beach, tour and activity and destination management services. Our organization specializes in providing critical guest-facing departments with subject matter experts, passionate associates, and dedicated management.

General Job Description:

The Property Director is the senior leader responsible for guest facing services delivered by RED.  The scope of responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: managing beach, sailing and activity staff, building and managing relationships with the hotel’s guidance committee, communicating with Ritz-Carlton Catering, assisting with retail inventory, payroll, scheduling, and staff training, as well as maintaining complete responsibility for the business unit’s employee performance, third party vendor relationships, guest satisfaction results and financial performance.

Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Leadership

  • Lead the management team (Property Operations, Beach Operations, Marine Operations) who report directly to this position
  • Support and manage the following duties of the Marine Operations Manager:
    • Management of marina, preventative maintenance, asset management, the creation of all duty sheets and all operations standards, including training manuals
    • Accountable for captains completing pre-trip provisioning, preparation, vessel inspection, post-trip cleaning and resupply
  • Support and manage the following duties of the Beach Operations Manager:
    • Organize and supervise daily operations, including delegation and management of beach attendant staff who deploy the non-motorized watersports equipment such as kayaks, SUPs, hobie cats and snorkeling equipment and facilitate the on-property sailing program
  • Support and manage the following duties of the Property Operations Manager:
  • Providing service and supervision at the Hotel Tour and Activity Concierge Desk
  • Providing guests with area information and driving bookings for land and water based activities while managing the preferred vendor relationships
  • Ensure all RED employee policies are being followed
  • Foster a team environment
  • Challenge and motivate staff to achieve sales, provide superior guest service and promote RED
  • Be an expert at problem solving using proven methodologies

Finance and Accounting

  • Manage labor and expenses for the department
  • Ensure monthly billing accuracy and deliver monthly reconciliation/audit of all financial statements, including direct booking revenue for motorized and nonmotorized watersports, third party revenue and retail revenue
  • Participate in the development of annual budgets

Human Resources

  • Accountable for all human resources activities, including hiring and onboarding processes, progressive discipline policies, equity reviews and local compliance
  • Conduct monthly performance critiques with RED senior leadership
  • Maintain all safety compliance of vessels and certification trainings of staff

Operations

  • Lead the coordination of all employees and initiatives in collaboration for the hotel team
  • Collaborate with The Ritz-Carlton property operators to engage in relationship building and service execution
  • Develop a culture of inclusiveness, communication and respect amongst the team
  • Manage all third party vendor relationships
  • Provide hands-on, on-site support to the team
  • Observe, modify and implement new policies and procedures to continuously challenge the status quo and refine the business model by offering better value to our customers

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years management in luxury hospitality operations, watersports and commercial boating experience, familiarity with US Coast Guard or equivalent compliance
  • Previous management experience with proven success leading a team of more than 10 employees
  • Previous department head experience for revenues over $1m annually
  • Previous concierge watersports and/or high-end resort experience a plus
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours due to guest demands, including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to write English in a professional manner, as well as communicate verbally at the same level
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Ability to handle a high volume of requests

Supervisor: Vice President of Operations

Starting Pay: $150/day

We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated and team-oriented crew members and captains to drive our Axopar Boat.
Pay starting at $150/day for captains and $80 for crew, plus service charge and gratuity
Our 37’ Axopar Suntops will provide charter trips in and around the Ritz-Carlton Grace Bay. We are seeking team members who excel at customer service, enjoy communicating with guests aboard the vessel and have a passion for boating in the islands.

Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Safe operation of a USCG Inspected Vessel
  • Pre-trip provisioning, preparation, and vessel inspection
  • Provide an enjoyable, guest-centric and luxury experience throughout the excursion (includes serving food and beverage)
  • Post-trip cleaning and resupply
  • Routine maintenance and communication of critical maintenance needs
  • In-water and topside snorkel instruction and supervision
