General Job Description:
The Marine Mechanic will need to provide repairs, services, and maintenance for a specific fleet of vessels, including a 64 foot custom build Gold Coast Yacht and sailing catamaran, Van Dutch luxury speed boat, outboard dinghys and Axopars.
Qualified candidates must have a mechanical aptitude of marine applications (marine diesel engines, Mercury Outboard, Yanmar engines). Must be good with a wide spectrum of diagnostics, trouble shooting, preventative maintenance, electrical, mechanical experience. Must speak and write in the English language. Must be willing to work overtime, nights, some weekends.
We are seeking team members who excel at customer service, enjoy communicating with guests aboard the vessel and have a passion for boating in the islands. RED offers opportunities for the right individuals to grow in a variety of different positions.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Develop and launch a digital software to maintain all vessels maintenance schedules, parts item numbers, inventory and local compliance
• Fully able to execute diesel engine maintenance and repairs, oil changes/injectors/fuel pumps/transmissions and assist with or direct engine change outs.
• Highly skilled in fiberglass repairs and welding
• Possess diagnostics equipment and tools for all engines being serviced
• Diesel mechanic experience
• Expert in marine electrical wiring and replacement of entire consoles
• Train captains and crew on boat maintenance techniques
• Able to carry out responsibilities with little or no immediate supervision.
• Able to diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions, recommend proper remedies, and execute or direct repairs of the vessel(s) mechanical and electrical systems.
Job Requirements
• Schedule and execute preventive maintenance program on daily, weekly, and monthly basis with the support of other maintenance and engineering staff.
• Responsible for overall upkeep of the vessel and maintenance resources.
• Participate and/ or take a lead role in vessel paint and fiberglass projects as directed
• Maintain necessary tools, filters, and replacement parts on hand as needed.
• Follow regulatory and company safety and pollution prevention policies and procedures.
• Oversee or assist preparing the vessel for all USCG annual inspections and dry docks.
• Maintain a professional demeanor

General Job Description:
The Watersports Center is the hub for all beach activities at The Ritz-Carlton Grace Bay. Beach attendants are responsible for delivering a luxury guest experience by servicing guests with non-motorized watersports such as kayaks, stand up paddle boards, snorkel equipment and hobie cats.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
● Provide hospitality to all beach guests by delivering Ritz-Carlton service standards, including using the guest’s name three time throughout any interaction, exceeding guest expectations when fulfilling their requests, and anticipating their every need
● Facilitate sailing lessons for guests on hobie cats
● Provide safety briefings to guests prior to their use of all non-motorized watersport
● Provide supervision of guests while using watersports equipment in the designated areas
● Track daily watersports equipment usage, by guest, per company standards
● Complete general maintenance and upkeep of watersports equipment, including daily shift setup and breakdown, and the reporting of unsafe/damaged equipment
● Be an ambassador and sales associate to upsell guests on additional watersport excursions offered by RED
● Provide small power boat operations for retrieving guest and transferring guests from catamaran and other motorized sports
● Complete a monthly inventory of equipment and/or retail items as directed
● Complete end of shift billing and reconciliation of guest receipts for excursions and rental gear sold
● Communicate with guests on trip updates and cancelations
Job Requirements
● Working eight hours outside in the water and/or under the sun
● Ability to work flexible hours due to guest demands, including nights, weekends and holidays

We are seeking enthusiastic, creative and dedicated instructors to launch a new resort Learn To Sail program. The Ritz Sailing Academy vision is to provide resort guests the opportunity to Learn To Sail while on vacation in the island paradise.

The Sales Manager will be the main conduit for developing sales and retail branding across all departments of Cruz Bay Watersports (CBW), RED Hospitality & Leisure company. The scope of responsibilities will encompass, but not be limited to: building successful relationships which generate sales opportunities, managing all sales activities, using market trends and targeting customer information to maximize revenue, provide stellar service to our customers and hotel guests, and partner with all parts of the RED and CBW portfolio. Maintenance Scheduling
Oversee the maintenance channel on Slack. Any photo posted with a description that can be fixed should be. If it needs to be outsourced, that should be done in a timely manner. Order parts as needed up to $500.00, if it costs more than that consult with the marine operations manager beforehand.
Make it a point to do a walkthrough of all boats on a weekly basis to visualize anything that is broken, about to break, or could be fixed and document it on the maintenance channel.
Any improvements that can be made to increase the aesthetic, safety or performance or of the boats, should be listed on the maintenance channel in slack and be addressed in a timely manner.
Develop an inventory list of all spare parts (oil filters, fuel filters, impellers, oil, and transmission fluid) for the boats we work on in the house. See about
Oversee the scheduling of oil and transmission fluid changes, impeller changes on Lady B and the Gemini, and keep running documentation of each service.
Oversee the maintenance of the Tiki Boat engines, scheduling service dates, and ordering parts as you need.
Delegate responsibilities, like cleaning the engine rooms on Lady B and the Gemini to crew members on days when there is no trip. This should be done on a monthly basis if possible.
Take the Tubby out and run the engine once a month, flushing the engines afterward.
Capital Improvement Project List
Design and install the fuel tank onto the fuel trailer. Order the appropriate trailer, use the crew as needed to install the wood or aluminum deck. Get the proper documentation in place to be had while driving and help set up the testing for fuel handling for yourself and for Scott.
Tiki Boat lifeline reinstallation. The stanchion bases need to be fixed, and possibly new stanchions are needed all together.
The tiki boats need new bar top epoxy, investigate this process and see if its possible to do in house
